How to reduce lag

(rtf version : http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?fi ... 8219688434)

Hello all here a little tuto to how reduce lag when playing astroflux:

few process of your computer make you lag , we gona see wich one and how disable em

first - get rid of anti virus(cant help you there) and realtime protection from windows defender:
-to disable windows defender real time protection , just type defender in the window search bar , open windows security center and click on protection against virus and threat, then click setting of protection against virus and threat and disable real time protection

this previous part was one of the most important to reduce lag , but thats not all:

2- Other useless process can slow you down while playing : superfetch.exe , Runtimebroker.exe

superfetch.exe: -algo wich remind wich file you use the most to open em faster , he can eat a lot of ressource !

Runtimebroker.exe: -an autohorisation manager wich can eat a lot of memory too.

close em down with task manager on the details section .

3-Choose your network connection wisely
wired connection is the best hands up to play this game but , if you define well some setting , playing with wi-fi can be fine too!
now lets see how access your router setting screen :

you may find info on how access your router here: https://portforward.com/router.htm
in most case , just type : 192.168.1.1 in your browser in other case :

https://www.pcmag.com/article/346184/ho ... s-settings
now that you accessed your router setting screen lets first look at something ,the wi-fi canal:

Canal Frequency (Mhz) Speed Autre utilisation de cette plage de fréquence
1 2401 => 2423 good Radio amateurs + canaux Wi-Fi 2, 3, 4 et 5
2 2406 => 2428 low Radio amateurs + canaux Wi-Fi 1, 3, 4, 5 et 6
3 2411 => 2433 low Radio amateurs + canaux Wi-Fi 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 et 7
4 2416 => 2438 low Radio amateurs + canaux Wi-Fi 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 et 8
5 2421 => 2443 low Radio amateurs + canaux Wi-Fi 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 et 9
6 2426 => 2448 good Radio amateurs + canaux Wi-Fi 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 et 10
7 2431 => 2453 low Radio amateurs + micro-ondes + canaux Wi-Fi 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 et 11
8 2436 => 2458 low Radio amateurs + micro-ondes + canaux Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11 et 12
9 2441 => 2463 low Radio amateurs + micro-ondes + canaux Wi-Fi 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 , 12 et 13
10 2446 => 2468 low Radio amateurs + micro-ondes + canaux Wi-Fi 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 , 12 et 13
11 2451 => 2473 good canaux Wi-Fi 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 et 13
12 2456 => 2478 low we dont care
13 2461 => 2483 low we dont care
14 n.a. JAPANNNNNNNNN

as you can see it , you want to play on canal 1, 6 and 11
if you are far from the router with some walls between computer and router , try higher frequency canal 6 and 11 , try em all till u get a better result .

DISABLE YOU CELLPHONE WI-FI WHEN U PLAY !

lag a bit less now ?

An alternative to step 3 is to just turn wifi off and then connect to the modem via cable.

Or get a router from a good manufacturer, Mikrotik or Ubiquity are strongly recommended, good prices and outstanding performance, but you need to know more about networking to use them.

Also, something that was forgotten for step 3:
Change the frequency from 2.4 GHz to 5 GHz if your device supports it.
The channels are similar when it comes to getting around obstacles, but the 5 GHz not only supports faster speeds, it is also a much less crowded frequency, since the majority of wireless devices use the 2.4 GHz by default.

And for an extra:
