Hi everyone!

For weeks we have been working to balance the game and finally we are ready for launching the update. Of course there are still work to be done and we know this update will not be the final one.

The weapon balance is based on a combination of user feed back and statistics. For example.. a weapon that people consider slightly OP but which is hardly used and is performing poorly in the statistics won't be nerfed. We also try to avoid nerfs that will render a weapon useless.

As for ship balance the main theme have been to give all skin a unique strong point. For example:
- Judicator -> Best shield-regen in game
- Nexar Fighter -> Fastest ship around
- Spy-1 -> Strong kinetic single damage, useless with multi type weapons
- Assassin -> High speed and stealth, but squishy
- Nexar Blade -> Very strong in-fighter, but useless at everything else

New Mini Bosses
Scrap Collector lvl 18
Ant lvl 12
Sax lvl 8
Hattur lvl 4

Group XP
A slight change to group XP will prevent obvious abuse, but at the same time promote and give bonus XP to groups who are even. You will gain 1% extra per party member.

Spawn Times
We introduced an initial spawn time on certain spawners and reduced reset and rebuild time to promote those who don't refresh the instance.

Resets
You will get 3 free resets in this update and there will be a new package available that contains 10 resets for half price, 1000 Flux instead of 2000 Flux.

- Increased cooldown reduction to 10%

- Increased speed to 16%
- Reduced max power by 20%

PS: If you want to make the ships more unique, you should consider giving a bonus for 1 or 2 weapons for each ship. Those weapon could be op, but just for one specific ship, which can have drawbacks. Like medic has a bonus of +50% health gained via Repair-Nanobot Spray, carrier can have 2 orb pet instead of one, Portal gain de 50% cooldown bonus on teleport, Juggernaut get +50% damage for Heavy Cannon, etc...

Well i can see most of kinetic weapons got buff...
I would like more nerf on easy weapons as eagle needles but well...


I just want to suggest one thing , since there are many different values between pvp and pve could you put or bring KOTZ or make a new one with just warp gate and upgrade station with the same conditions as DM/DOM matches? This is the only real manner where test and built sets is worth it.... Any other test in a normal instance is just an ilusion and I want to get the real pvp values.

About astro lance:
This weapon is clearly underpowered, even with this update, and there is a big problem :
When you call back the lances, they don't damage anything. What's the point of calling them back then ? If it's just as a visual effect then it's useless. The projectiles should be able to damage twice, when launched and when coming back. It's useless to have nice control on them since hitting ennemies doesn't inflict damage once you called them back.

Moreover, the best ET is, in my opinion, extra projectiles which gives a real nice direct damage/DoT boost. Yet, the astro lance can stack DoT only up to 100 times. You can fire up to 10 lances every 0.5s, thus you can reach your max DoT in 5 seconds... Not to mention that if you add damage when lances come back, you would be able to reach your max DoT twice as fast, in 2.5s.

I think it would be great reduce both direct damage and DoT by 30% and add the ability for lances to hit things when they are coming back to you. And remove the stack limitation, or make it at least 200 times.

Astro lance is said to be the most skill requiring weapon, but there is no reward even for using them properly.

About Railgun:

It just received a really nice and needed boost with the update. But the ET shield and hp leech is really underpowered : at level 100, it can only leech 5%... It sounds like a joke for a middle-low dps weapon. It should be AT LEAST 20% to be effective.

Hugo, I'm pretty sure all PVP modifiers (max res, weapon adjustments) apply whenever you shoot at another player, in a dom/dm or hostile/clan instance. I could be wrong?

I didn't say it didn't got nerf ,I said it should be more don't forget is a pierce weapon ,aim assist ,heal and still has a huge dps .

Nop , but test it enter in pve instance and look to your beam dmg and then enter to pvp and compare your dmg for last enter on dom/dm and compare your damage.

If you think lance is underpower you playing it wrong. Lance isn't a confront/direct combat weapon is a control weapon that is deadly and unscapable im pvp matches.
Beside lance does damage(dot) when is comming at least it does in the past. Beside if the dps plus dot were the same on shoot and on back that would be op would be extremelly op since it would be only shoot and call 3 ,4 times and pop. The only way that your idea could work is splitted the damage but that would require that you hit on the way when shoot and on the way back and that wouldn't be so good even if it was a good balance :)
