Federation Missions
Based on current time of day and player level range.
All players within a level bracket will receive certain missions during various times of day.

Example: Players level 1-5 will have randomly chosen missions for enemies in Hyperion, and players level 6-10 will have missions for Hyperion Elite/Kapello/Venturi. Time of day (minute range of the hour) will alter what missions are available as well.

I didn't spend much time on the idea to really think about what missions fit into what brackets or how long the time brackets last. The idea here is to bring players closer together more often. Anyone running missions would ideally be running into other players of the same level range and increase chances for player interaction.

The game already chooses what missions you get based on your level.
Unless you specifically tell it to give you all timed missions. Which is something a lot of people do since after a certain point you're stuck with Fulzar and Vorsan.

Though with the current system you can power through the timed missions, since you receive new ones as soon as you complete the active ones.

Probably would need to increase the rewards on quite a few missions if you did this, cause if you only get like 3k xp every, hour maybe if they are done in hourly cycles, that would be pretty much not worth it, unless you're also suggesting like 6-7 missions every hour or something like that.

My idea would effectively lower the pool of missions by putting them in groupings based on minute of the hour. While we already have level restrictions (wildly outdated they seem) this would give us only 5 or so to choose from and they would change to a different grouping every 5-10 minutes. Some long needed changes (looking at you dn spawn timer) would have to be made of course.

or add a fourth high difficulty high reward mission to each bracket based on time and leave the normal timed missions as is

The goal is to nudge players into one another without forcing it. A reason to fly together, or at least not make it an inconvenience as it is now.

i like this idea.
but how cool would it be for example, to have a synchonized mission to kill 20 DMATS, then have the spawner in kritilian barf out 25 DMATS at that same time?
from a noobs perspective, anyways.
